How to Customize Products With us
Send us Your Design
Each mirror is meticulously crafted to your specifications, ensuring a unique piece that adds sophistication to any space. Select from our standard collection or create your own custom design. Add safety backing, tempered mirror, or security hardware to meet any of your design requirements.
Finalize Your Design Details
Upon confirmation of your order, we will finalize all specifications and produce detailed drawings for approval. You may also select from our standard finish options or send us a control finish sample to match.
Completion and Shipment
We will coordinate with your team to ship the custom product within your installation schedule. After completion, your order will go through three quality control checks before it is fitted with custom packaging to insure a safe and damage free delivery.

Custom Sizes
Anything in our collection can be resized to fit your space and refinished to match your specific color and finish requirements. You can customize items to your exact specifications by adjusting the scale, matching any of our collection’s finishes, or even creating your very own custom finish.

Metal and wood designs
Modify any piece in our collection or bring your own vision to life. Our skilled craftsmen work with solid wood and a variety of metals including brass, iron, stainless, and cold rolled steel. Frames are hand-carved, hand-veneered, and finished with your choice of leaf, stain, paint, plating, polish, or powder coat. Standard production takes ten to twelve weeks, with the option to expedite your project by producing in Los Angeles.

Illuminate your mirror with custom LED lighting. Light up one of our standard designs or create something entirely your own, integrated lighting adds an extra layer of drama and sophistication.

Finishes
Modify our collection or create your own design. Our craftsmen hand carve each frame from solid wood and hand lay an assortment of veneer species. Complete your design with any leaf, stain or painted finish. Standard production is ten to twelve weeks.

Framing
Anything in our line can be refinished to your specification within two to four weeks. We hand leaf and can add any level of antiquing or distressing. For paint finishes, send a manufacture’s code or a control sample to match.

Create your own panel mirror. Locally produced mirror can be cut to any size or shape. For further detail add a frame, bevel or rosette.

We can upholster a wide variety of shapes using leather, hide or fabric. Add metal nail heads for additional detail.

Antiqued mirror can be fabricated to any size panel, tile, or sheet. Add antiqued mirror to our standard designs, create a backsplash, design a floor to ceiling accent wall or add detail to furnishings.

Steps for custom design orders
1. Request Quote
Request a custom quote by either emailing custom@mirrorhome.com, calling (323) 869-1700 , or selecting the items to customize through our website.
2. Submit Purchase Order
Send us your purchase order based on the custom quote. Add any additional information, side marks, or updated shipment addresses. If the finish for the project is custom, and requires us to match, it should be sent with the PO.
3. Order Confirmation
Request a custom quote by either emailing custom@mirrorhome.com, calling (323) 869-1700, or selecting the items to customize through our website.
4. Send Deposit
In order for the detailed shop drawings to begin, deposit is required. Payment can be made with ACH or credit cards for faster payment. Checks may also be sent. The lead time for the shop drawings starts once payment is received.
5. Shop Drawings Begin
Our artisans detail the custom design in PDF format for final design review. This is the last opportunity to make revisions before the item goes into production.
6. Shop Drawing and finish Approvals
Shop drawings are reviewed and approved along with finish samples. If your specified finish is not from our standard collection, we need a physical control sample to match. All submittals should be sent to us as early as possible, as production lead time begins when all approvals are finalized.
7. Production Starts
Even if the lead time is stated as 10-12 weeks from approvals, there is a possibility of an additional 3-5 week port delay. Air freight from our overseas factory is an option to reduce the lead time from 10-12 weeks to 6-8 weeks from approvals.
8. Pay Balance
Once production is completed, we will invoice for any open balance so the order can ship as soon as it is ready.
9. Final Inspection & Shipping
The order receives the final quality inspection and is carefully packaged. For the custom packaging, the item is fit with an inner and outer box shaped to the design. The outer box is placed on a pallet with an A-frame installed for extra support. The entire packaging is completely sealed in a pallet box to ensure safe arrival at the final destination.
